For the Record

Zigzag and I tied in our first weigh-in for pounds lost over the first two-week period. We are both approximately 13% closer to our respective goal weights. So I guess the Gardenburger helped after all.

You may wonder why I am so bold as to talk about this on the World! Wide! Web! The truth is, I’m hoping it will motivate me. I’m usually pretty close-mouthed on the subject of my gargantuaness, (Hey, my fat, my words) but enough is enough. And since I didn’t try out for the Biggest Loser, this is my way of motivating myself; putting it out there. Anyway, this is my site, so I get to talk about what I want. :) Zigzag really doesn’t need to lose that much, because he is a handsome man, so this competition feels more like a personal challenge rather than one against a good friend. That being said, I am totally going to destroy him in the second weigh-in. (Currently scheduled for Sunday, September 25th). I’ll keep y’all posted, unless of course, my site stats dramatically drop.

For the record, you won’t get numbers on here… just how much toward the unnamed goal, in percentages. Because I am embarrassed about how much I weigh, until I get better, I’m not comfortable talking about it exactly.

Thanks for the mind dump. You may now go back to your ice cream.

Awesome, Tony. Congrats to you and Rich - for both challenging each other, and making progess towards your goals. It sounds like you’re already having fun with this, and that will make the results that much better.

Are you just tweaking the diet, or have you added additional exercising? Are you bench pressing students? Perhaps bicycling to/from work?

ST- It’s up to Rich— it’s fine by me, but you’re already a week behind. Also, do you like golf? Kind of an important motivator.

Rich is a good challenge, because he *thinks* he can beat me. What did you have for lunch yesterday, oh mighty Zigzag?
