And Finally Tonight…

In my most worthless post of the evening, (which of course will get the most comments) McDonald’s is running their 49/59 cent cheap hamburger and cheeseburger day tomorrow (the 26th). At the risk of giving them free advertising, I’m telling you about this because if I suddenly become unresponsive to IM’s, texts, phone calls, or smoke signals, you’ll know that I actually managed to get one level nearer to nirvana through hedonisitc self-abuse of ‘limit five per visit” rule.  Per visit. Suckers.

I have a soft spot for the McD’s cheeseburger. I can’t help it. It doesn’t actually taste like a cheeseburger.

Check in with me tomorrow… let us see if I can resist the spawn of Ronald.

    There are few greater daily deals anywhere than these off of the Dollar Menu at McDonald’s: (1) sausage biscuit and hash brown combo for breakfast (I believe that this deal is only at the Mickey D’s locations in the Loop) and (2) double cheeseburger for lunch (this should be offered everywhere). They are such satisfying and filling eats for merely pocket change.

    How I’m even friends with either of you is amazing. The only two times I’ve ever had White Crapple, I’ve A) Puked* all over the toliet — and trust me, jalepeno does not taste good coming back the other way– and B)Had to wait 30 minutes to get a burger. On a Tuesday night! In Fox Valley. Ridiculous!

    *In WC’s defense, I had been drinking, and Beth was feeding me drinks. Apparently Long Islands and concoctions that are referred to as “The Blue Drink” may not agree with WC.

    It’s NOT what I crave.

    Amen to that. Nothing is quite like the double-double, animal style, ketchup instead.

    That being said, White Castle still sucks. :)
