2 minute drill

Ready? Go!

After a week of lack of Internet, cable TV, and telephone, I guess it’s nice to be reconnected with the rest of the world. I have to say that the 1970’s must have sucked with their lack of technology. Tonight the phone portion of Comcast was here for the better part of two hours trying to figure out what was wrong with our line. Turns out something ATE our phone line. Yikes. It must have been hungry. So the guy had to go up on the ladder in the dark, so I felt bad. Anyway, we are now reconnected, and may now in theory (in theory) help resume regular posting.

Football has started. Frank the Tank is crazy for thinking the Illini will make a bowl. The only bowl they are going to make is in wood shop. (Awww, SNAP.) The Bears looked good last week. The Lions should be a little more of a challenge.

Rockstar: Supernova finished tonight. Lukas Rossi. Unbefrickin’lievable. A Canadian wins it two years in a row. TLEMK was happy, and I thought it was lame with a capital SUCK.

Regular-season TV comes back next week, and what better way to watch ALL of it than with a TiVo Series 3? No problem, as long as you’ve got $800 lying around. We’ll wait until it comes down sometime next spring (I hope.) For now, we’ll hang on to the Series 2. Our network adapter arrives tomorrow, so we can finally take full advantage of the wonderful little box.

This may be my best class ever. Time will tell. They are definitely bright, and there’s only 21 of them. It’s a beautiful thing, let me tell you…and I have a lot to say about them.
More focused posting coming soon. Enjoy the randomness until then.
